A geotextile is a planar, permeable, polymeric textile product in the form of a flexible sheet utilized in conjunction with soil materials as an integral part of a civil engineering or environmentalproject. Synthetic fibers are arranged in a random manner through needle punching, thermal bonding or chemical binding into a non woven geotextile.
