Paving Geotextiles

Paving geotextiles are non woven polypropylene fabrics specially designed for paving applications. When used in combination with an asphalt tack coat, the systemforms an asphalt membrane interlayer within the pavement section.

This layer acts as a barrier to surface water infiltration, thus protecting the pavement structure underneath, and improving resistance to pavement fatigue and reflective cracking. These combined functions have been widely shown to extend the life of asphalt cement concrete overlays and new pavements.
